The Lincolnshire Marketing Awards 2025

We’re thrilled to announce the return of the Lincolnshire Marketing Awards – back for their third year and set to be bigger and better than ever.

This year’s celebration of marketing excellence will take place on Thursday 12th September, at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Lincoln. The ceremony follows the Lincolnshire Marketing Conference, making it a full day of learning, networking, and celebration.

It’s free to enter, you can submit up to three entries per business, and all entries are independently judged. Whether you’re an in-house marketing team, an agency, or a business owner doing it all yourself, this is your opportunity to be recognised for your hard work and impact.

The Categories

The Lincolnshire Marketing Awards categories:

  • The Innovative Marketing Award - recognising those firms using creative and original strategies to reach their audience or build brand awareness.

    - Demonstrates originality and creativity in marketing strategies.

    - Shows evidence of successful campaigns that have effectively reached the target audience or increased brand awareness.

    - Utilises innovative approaches to overcome marketing challenges.

    - Incorporates measurable results demonstrating the impact of innovative strategies on business objectives.

  • Corporate and Social Responsibility Award - acknowledging the efforts of local firms towards reducing their environmental impact, promoting diversity and inclusion, and/or volunteering with local charities.

    - Displays commitment to reducing environmental impact through sustainable practices.

- Actively promotes diversity and inclusion within the workplace and community.

- Engages in meaningful partnerships or initiatives with local charities or community organisations.

- Provides evidence of the positive social and environmental impact of corporate responsibility efforts.

  • Best Use of Social Media Award - recognising outstanding use of social media in engaging customers, building brands and driving sales.

    - Utilises social media platforms effectively to engage with the target audience.

    - Demonstrates creativity and innovation in social media content and campaigns.

    - Shows evidence of increased brand visibility, customer engagement, and sales driven through social media efforts.

    - Utilises analytics and metrics to measure the effectiveness of social media strategies.

  • Best Website Award - recognising an outstanding website of a local company, such as design, layout and content. We're also interested in traffic, the site map, SEO and domain authority.

    - Displays excellence in website design, user experience, and functionality.

    - Provides informative and engaging content relevant to the target audience.

    - Demonstrates strong search engine optimisation (SEO) practices to improve visibility and ranking.

    - Shows evidence of high traffic, user engagement, and conversion rates.

    - Utilises effective site mapping and navigation to enhance user experience.

  • Entrepreneur of the Year * - recognising individual business leaders who have made a significant impact in their business over the last 12 months.

    - Demonstrates exceptional leadership and vision in driving business growth and innovation.

    - Shows evidence of overcoming challenges and achieving significant milestones within the past 12 months.

    - Displays a strong commitment to business ethics and integrity.

    - Contributes positively to the local business community through mentorship or involvement in entrepreneurial initiatives.

  • Best New Business - recognising the achievements of a local firm established within the last two years.

    - Demonstrates rapid growth and achievement since establishment within the last two years.

    - Displays innovation and differentiation in products, services, or business models.

    - Shows evidence of a strong market presence and customer satisfaction.

    - Displays a clear vision for future growth and sustainability.

  • Best Family-Owned Business - recognising the success of a local business owned and operated by members of the same family.

    - Demonstrates successful multi-generational business continuity and succession planning.

    - Displays a strong family ethos and values reflected in business operations.

    - Shows evidence of sustained growth and success over time.

    - Contributes positively to the local community and economy.

  • Growth Award * - recognising the success of a Lincolnshire business who have experienced growth.

    - Demonstrates significant growth in revenue, market share, or expansion within the past year.

    - Displays effective strategic planning and execution to drive growth initiatives.

    - Shows evidence of scalability and sustainability in business operations.

    - Contributes positively to the local economy through job creation or investment.

  • Best Business Service Provider Award - providers who have demonstrated excellence in delivering their services over the past year.

    - Demonstrates excellence in delivering high-quality services to clients or customers.

    - Displays innovation and adaptability in responding to client needs and market trends.

    - Shows evidence of client satisfaction, testimonials, or case studies highlighting successful outcomes.

    - Contributes positively to the overall growth and success of client businesses through exceptional service delivery.

  • Business Recognition Award * - recognising a person or business who has had a significant impact

How to enter

Nominations must be submitted in a word document format and contain between 300 -1000 words. Submissions can be submitted here:
 

  • Your nomination must include the following;

    • Chosen Award Category(s)

    • Company Name

    • Contact Name & Telephone Number should your nomination be shortlisted

    • Written entry to consist of between 300 and 1,000 words. Please ensure you have read the award criteria for your chosen category as judges will be marking submissions based on this criteria.

  • Companies can enter a maximum of three categories

  • All nominations will be treated as confidential at all times

  • The awards are completely FREE to enter!

  • Judges are looking for a clear and concise submission. Show us how your results have aligned with your objectives, and how this has been achieved through creativity and innovation. Share facts and figures where relevant to evidence your outcomes. We want to know what makes you stand out! You’re welcome to submit additional supporting evidence (beyond your 1000 words) however this is at the judge’s discretion to view therefore please remember ‘quality over quantity’. Any additional evidence should be limited to one page of A4 and may include links/videos.

  • Each judge reads their allocated nomination files privately and confidentially in their own time so there is no conferring between judges. All judges are required to sign non-disclosure agreements in order to join the panel and must declare any conflicts of interest. They will also judge on categories specific to their expertise.

  • Winners are determined using a scoring system, once judges submit their scores, an average score will be calculated; in the event that nominees are tied then the Head Judge will be asked to judge that particular category.

  • Nominations must be submitted no later than Friday 5th July 2025. 

  • Nominations will then be submitted to our panel of judged who will shortlist the entries.

  • Shortlisted companies will be contacted w/c 29th July 2025 and will be offered a priority ticket allocation. There is no obligation to attend the awards if shortlisted. If you’re successful but not present, your award will be posted to you. Your attendance/non-attendance has no bearing on scores/success.

  • The shortlisted companies will be revealed on 1st August 2025.

  • Winners will be revealed on at the Lincolnshire Marketing Awards on Wednesday 12th September.
