6-Week Golf & Networking Programme for Lincolnshire Businesses
This summer, we’re doing something a little different. In partnership with Lincoln Golf Centre, we’re running a six-week golf and networking programme designed specifically for local business owners.
It’s aimed at complete beginners who want to learn the basics of golf, get outside on a Friday, and meet other professionals in a relaxed, no-pressure setting. No dress code, no awkward ice-breakers, and no need to be “sporty” , just practical coaching, good conversations, and a reason to leave the desk a little earlier each week.
What the programme includes
Each Friday from 6 June to 11 July, we’ll meet at Lincoln Golf Centre. The day starts at 11am with coffee and a bacon roll (or sausage bap) at the Oaks Café. From midday until 1pm, two PGA professionals will lead a one-hour group coaching session on the driving range.
Every week focuses on a different skill, from building your swing to working on chipping, bunkers, and strategy. The sixth week will wrap up with a friendly round and a few informal awards.
The full programme is £99 + VAT per person, which covers all six lessons, food, drink, and coaching. We’ve kept spaces limited to 10 people so it stays focused, useful, and gives everyone enough time to learn and chat.
If you’ve not got your own clubs, don’t worry right and left-handed loan sets are available.
Why we’re doing it
It’s easy to get caught in the usual routines. This is a way to mix that up, get outside, and make useful connections with other business owners across Lincolnshire. It’s not a formal networking event and it’s not a competitive sports programme, it's something in between. A chance to build new skills, meet new people, and start the weekend with a clearer head.
You’ll also get a short video recap of your progress each week, and we’re adding a few small touches like a prize for best performance and a wooden spoon for the worst shot of the day. All in good fun.
